I've got some question about blacktop!!!

I receive my engine with a broken sensor (I think it's a sensor) and when I remove the sensor I find a hole without thread :

This is the throttle body' side of the engine.

The broken "sensor" :

I want know what's this sensor and if it's the good fixing (without thread)

Other problem Mad :

I don't have the knock sensor : there are two holes under the throttle body and I don't know where it is located...

Last problem :

I've the purge valve :

But I don't know how it's "wired" (the vacuum hoses)

I hope someone can help me or show me pics of this side of the engine.

I wait for your answer, thanks...

The part you have removed is not a sensor. It is just a plain plug to plug up a unused hole. This hole is used in the 16v 4A-GE as a extra oil drain from the head. No used with the 20 valve.

The knock sensor is ment to screw into the block. It goes in the block, under No.3 throttle.

With the purge valve: one side is connected to your charcole canister. The other side is connected to all 4 throttles. There is a vaccum port underneath each throttle. These are all met to be connected up together, and via a valve, connect to once side of the purge valve.
