|

So.. it looks like Ive got most of the bits n pieces I need for a hicomp map setup coming to me..
ECU
Dizzy
MAP sensor
Ignitor/Coil = usdm lexus/4runner etc.. equivalent (from what Ive found with part #'s etc)
.. but what I have none of.. is the matching connectors to it all.. now I can probably sit down with a digikey catalog and calipers and find equivalent pins to fit on the plugs.. but that'll be an awful friggin mess..
Does anyone know any US/EUDM cars that have the same ECU, dizzy, or map sensor plugs as a JDM Hicomp 4age? do EU/USDM MAF hicomp parts have the same connectors as the japanese stuff?
Yeah, Im not in europe.. but figure toyotas newer stuff (camry's and the like) may be a little more general than our old ae86's..
thanks,
Brett

The late AE92 has the highcomp engine and it got delivered to Europe as well.. Dunno about the US though.
Club4AG has the ECU pins for JDM (probably the same as EU):

yeah.. unfortunately ae92 GTS' are very rare in scrap yards around here.. or get picked over so quickly that even if you find one, its seldom worth it
thats why Im hoping someone says something like "Yeah!, I found a camry that had 3 of these plugs" or similar..
cheers,
Brett
