interested in what people wud think on running a stronger W5* gearbox with a 5:1 or 5:3 CWP in a AE86?
I use the car for purely competition purposes and at the minute i am breaking T50 boxes for fun. I have a 4age 16 with NOS and 240bhp and 200Ibs.ft
The w series box "should" and i hope be indestructable but im worried that the gearing may be even longer so my theory is that running a really short final drive like a 5:3 for instance will free up the rev range and make it much more responsive.
