Hi all...
My name is Krasimir - from Sofia, Bulgaria. I'm from Bulgarian Toyota communion(El Camino, punkara, jamie, bad_dog, cj, ghost rider...) and joined here a days ago. Nice place you have
My Hachi you can see by clicking at the link in my signature(my virtual garage) - don't try to read the text, it is bulgarian. You can see "before" and "now" shots and current updates I made.
Planning soon - 195/55/14, good exhaust system, KONI Yellow shocks, Espelir GT 4/3.8(35mm drop), camber plates, RCA, racing clutch disk, some lightweights and so on... Engine is in good condition, 7500 are not a problem, sounds like a motorcycle
before

and now
I tested it on a karting track, but suspension and clutch are gone. Some video stuff with me and my friends goin' crazy

now there is no scars from previous wounds and Hachi honour is back no longer abject look. I bought Hatchi in a very sick condition but made 400km pass across the country without any problems... except the exhaust - I've lost it in the middle of the distance... some donuts for pleasure. when arrived at home I was slightly stunned from exhaust gases and thunderous noise - but happy to own AE86

Hi again
I just ordered Swift F6kg/R4.5kg and KONI Sport(yellow) for my Hachi. I think 6kg is not too much for KONIs and will not damage them - I have a friends with yellow KONI - they say KONI is strong enough.
And took a shot of some part - all that will be fitted to my car next days, also new clutch and wheel bearings. I'm going to order camber plates soon(may be TEIN). In the background you can see one of the many reasons me and Hachi to be together Down is project for air filter thermal shield - I don't know what will it does, but it looks cool.
I have a newbie question - is there a difference between water lines for AE86 zenki models 83-84 and kouki models 85-87. I saw at ebay.com samco radiator kit:
can I fit these to my zenki AE86?

I believe the radiator lines are the same.. I think you might be better off finding those samco lines locally instead of through ebay..

Tnx Ivan141
There is a performance center here in Bulgaria and I will ask them. But if they offer me a crazy price I'll get that ebay stuff. I mean their prices are crazy by dafault

Hi All
Some news for my AE86. I made myself a new transmission mount, using two round mounts from BMW. It works great, I tested it on a race track. New KONIs SPORT front and rear and original 14 rims with Potenza 185/55/14 front and Michelin Pilot 195/60/14 rear. The KONIs setup is 180 degrees until max. I punished Hatchi on a race track - the car is very funny, runs smooth without any problems, very stable ride, no bumping, no oversteering or understeering. I have some problems with cooling system, after 3 laps with full throttle betwen 5000 and 7500rpm(at 2nd and 3rd mainly) the engine got overheat - I have to clean the cooling system and will install an electrical fan.
Some pictures:
New transmission mount:

and a car:
And my friend Miro from Bulgarian Toyota community. With AE86 he wins 3rd place on the Drakon race track - a 7th round of Bulgarian championship:

Today -> test on a local track Victims - some FF cars - too slow for AE86... and EVO 9. I cant believe that this '84 old FR car, without any performance upgrades(engine is fully stock!), normal street tyres - could made this! Me and my friend in my AE86 -> EVO 9 in front of us -> after 3 or 4 laps -> EVO 9 behind us. He made a spin and we passed him... but 3 laps behind EVO 9 and after each lap -> shorter distance. That was cool pursuit

hi again
last upgrade was about cooling system - TRD radiator cap 1.3 bar and racing alluminium radiator from S13. and of cource good exhaust system - 50mm with high frequency setup. now i have good power in 4500-7500rpm range with stock engine
video stuff from last event on Drakon race track, driving my good friend ghost rider. the tires are 195/45/14, KOYO front and DUNLOP rear - drifting on 3rd gear
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5_hR7C1eGs
im working on some suspention upgrades, soon will be fitted:
swift 6/4.5
tanabe sways 25/20
T3 camber plates
T3 RCA
traction brackets
cusco clutch kit
i have to upgrade the PCV system - known problem on long left turns and oil leak into the manifold. i switched the valve covers - with no result. sure i'll fix it after that i will use only Motul 300V 10w40 racing oil with TRD oil filter
see you soon

hi folks
hachi racing suspension is ready
Tanabe racing sways,
Swift racing springs,
T3 rca and traction brackets,
T3 camber plates,
racing steel flywheel JDM 3.7kg,
T3 light weight crank pulley 600g,
new clutch
brakes rebuild
gearbox oil changed to MOTUL racing
brakes fluid changed to MOTUL racing
TRD racing oil filter
im waiting for racing disk and pads and cusco racing clutch kit. and maybe headers, HKS 264 cams and cam pulleys - will run it on stock ECU
new look - low profile:
...and action look
last drift event - that day on Drakon hachi ran about 150km on the track - with no ANY problems, engine revs up to 7500rpm as usual to the limiter, with very good power band. I set up car for winter conditions -
toe out - zero
camber - one degree negative
caster - 3.5 degrees
for good track conditions i will use more agressive setup.
video stuff - driving my good friend Alex - he is the champion this year, class 1600cc Italian pursuit on Drakon race track. next year i will race hachi on this championship. low quality video, a lot of fun with this crazy car - AE86!

the racing radiator is something from china the model is for nissan S13, but is is very easy to fit it to corolla with minor changes.
im working at Subaru Performance Center, we deal with racing and high tuned sport cars - so I compared this china radiator to original Blitz and Koyo racing - it is good one. so I decided to save some money now my temp. gauge is always below the half of the scale, and engine has strong run all the time
