Hello.
I've had this car for 6 months now.
It's a 1986, with 120000km but the engine is waisted by the previous owners, it takes 2L/100km of oil
I have a "new" engine with only 60000km on it but haven't been running for 10 years so I'm re sealing it now.
Specs:
Wieschers sport, rollbar.
Heroes Racing Wheels 195/45, 15/6,5" et3 front and 15/7" et15 rear.
Cobra springs (cut).
Bilstein shocks allround.
5Zigen exhaust.
Air filter.
When I bought it:
And after:
I also have a Te71 coupé in finland:

Welcome!
Was your hachi original from Luxembourg? And what's the deal with the TE71 in Finland?

Yes the hachi is originaly from luxemburg.
I bought the te71 this year in finland when I was doing my military service there. really nice condition, It's so low that you can't go to parkhouses
Now it's my litle brother's daily drive there, until I drive it to luxemburg, maybe next summer
the te71 has:
4speed manual, 1,6 2t HEMI engine
Enkei Wheels 13x6" et15 front 14x7" et-10 rear.
JDM celica mirrors.
Rev gauge
Ultra low springs, Kyb shocks.
Ultima yellow top for the cold winter starts

Litle Update
I finaly changed the oil eating engine to my spare one with only 60000km on it but I prefered to re-seal it as it hasen't been running for 10 years.
I also did an experiment by using Solex-mikuni 50mm's with 43 restrictors and 4a adaptor, as ITB's.
I cut away all what was carburator and sealed the small holes in it, like that I was only using the butterflys and the 4a original injectors.
I modded the TPS to the front side of the carb but I had to cut the alu cooling pipe to fit the tps.
For the vacuum buffer tank I bought a mig welding, co2 gas bottle for 13e, where I drilled holes for vacuum pipes, the original 3 way vacuum splitter fitted perfectly the bottles main valve hole, for: map, eco, fuel pressure. and a big one for the brake booster., the Idle was very smooth.
But I prefered to switch back to original manifold as it wasn't too reliable on cold starts as it was running on 3 when cold, so I will fit it only for summer.
I also installed a new Showa aluminium oil cooler, and 25mm rear spacers, and sparco sprint seats, and a 5Zigen catback exhaust+decat.
It really sounds smooth and nice.

I didn't have the time to build an airbox/filter so they were just hanging in the air (no power to coldstartinjector)
but I was planing to put the air temperature sensor in this box atached to the itb, and just remove the cold start injector and plug the hole on the fuel rail.
It did rev well untill the end, there was no problem
but when I'm going to reinstall the itb next summer I have to buy a lambda meter to see if it really works with the stock ecu.

Nice work!, but that cooler is a bit out of place there imo.
Maybe it would look good if it was twice as big and your car was slamed on the ground..

Nah...
It just looks bad enough like this, so why to waist more time on it

Hey i gotta comment as well on the Oil cooler, i gotta say thats str8 JDM man so many people love to be such a critic on other peoples thoughts ans ideas, find another spot on the car where it will cool that efficent, i love the look of it, only thing i can say is move your fire extinguisher haha for safety unless you crash and land in the back seat behind the cage, might wanna keep it in reach, keep up the good work, looks great!!

Thanks mate.
The thing you said about the extinguisher is true, I need to put it in the front
alimonos: yes I'm running on stock ecu but I'm not sure if it's too rich or lean.
Menti: your spacers are already on, as well, as the spark plug wires, they work fine, thx

I have a problem, fitting my Kaaz 2 way diff.
The axles won't come off.
I even built a kind of a pulling tool, but they were still tight.
Is there a trick for this...?
In my ke70 they came apart really easy

Put an old steel rim with tyre on the studs backwards, put on the wheel nuts as loose as you dare and pull towards you in a reverse hammering effect.
Ghetto slide hammer but it works well. Better with the tyre fitted to maximise the weight behind each effort.
It will come, but make sure you keep your legs out from under the car and that it is very stable however you have raised it.

Put a 1m or so piece of chain from one stud to another stud put wheel nuts on, then twist the slack in the chain around the head of a sledge hammer. Pull the sledge handle towrds you and free your axles from the housing. Worked for me.

yeah I built a sliding hammer about 1m long and 1,5kg of hammering weight, didn't help.
Maybe I could heat up the part where the bearing is, with a blow torch!?
