Hi AE86ers!

James, I just thought I'd post here as a have a picture of your car you might be interested in.

That's my car on the right (also posted above by the Doctor - hi mate! Wink) with yours on the left, pictured about a year or so before it fell into Nightmare's hands. The shot was taken in Gravesend, not far from me and interestingly where my car had spent all of it's life since new until I bought it from it's origialelderly owners. Nightmares bought the car from Cornwall (or Somerset?) several hundred miles away!

My car was part of a feature with several other Retro-Rides members cars in Max Power(!) earlier in the year. I'm currently in negotiations for the car to find another owner sometime soon.

Linkage:

www.retro-rides.com Reader's Rides thread on your car

Enjoy tha car, and if you can handle a bit of multi forum action pop over to R-R and keep us updated! Smile

OMG. Matt Jones hangs around there as well! Very Happy

Don't spose you know good places to pick up old Japs? The mrs needs a little runaround but I only really know my old Mercs so kind of lost when it comes to buying anything that hasn't got a star on the end of the bonnet.

I suppose this is written almost two years ago, but that guy seriously got some excellent taste in cars:
- 197x Datsun Sunny coupe
- 1980 Datsun Laurel
- 1982 Honda Civic CRX
- 198x Mitsubishi Galant rwd

Only type of JDM cars I miss here are the 198x Toyotas. Puh

Anyway, I see he's really into the cressedias now. Good thing to now. Thumbsup

BTW: I suspect that D.Wars actually is the Dutch version of Matt Jones. Dr. Evil

these arrived this morning:
front and rear brake lines
rear drums
rear brake shoes
rear cylinders
original MX41 wing mirrors

going to get toyota pads for the front and see if they still have reconditioning kits for the calipers and brake master cylinder.
going to coilover the front and get custom rear springs made.
spacers and stretched tyres front and rear with negative camber at the front.
trying to decide on rolled/fibreglass arches or plastic ones, and the colour will be altezza blue, its similar to the original but nicer imo, and a front splitter.
this style:
