Hi all!

Let me say few words about the beggining:

I fell in love with RWD corollas in 2002, when I first saw a slalom race and there was a racer with a white coupe. WoW. The car was messy and rusty, but the show was incredible. After this race I decided I would like to buy a car like that.

My 1st one was bought in 2003 and I owned 4 of them since then.

In my first project I built a hachi for street and track use that happened few years ago. I crossed a US type Trueno coupe SR with an EUDM GT hatch. The car was great and az first I tried out drifting with it.

First project:
http://www.ae86.hu/ZoliAE86.htm
(sorry for Hungarian language, I hope pics can help to understand)

A bit later unfortunately I had to sell this car and parts, but it was bought by one of my friends SutteR and he countinued the project.

Last year I started a low budget Drift project again. It was a failure Sad The car had been broken on the first practice...

That was the point when I decided, I will build a brand new AE86 drift car and I would like to join the great Hungarian drifting.

My chassis project is on the link below:
http://www.simoncar.hu/index.php?mode=versenyauto_epites&almenu=q3

I have a blog site, and I update it regularly:
http://ae86.blog.hu

I hope the car will get started soon Smile
Most of the parts arrived already, but I'm still waiting for some parts to be deliveres. My biggest helping hand in the project: ZDoman the Hungarian hachiroku expert.

The AE92 Coupe was mine, before I bought the 2 hachies.
But I'm a little bit sad because I sold it. It was a nice car...

And now these are the actual pictures. We have some problems with building the engine (this is a long story... Sad ), but I hope some parts will arrive from Toyota next week, and we can countinue the work on the 4A-GE. I'm also waiting for the lexan windows and RCA's too.

Nice car! These guys at your garage have some skill... Cars must be extremely expensive in Hungary if you can do this to a humble Suzuki Swift

That time Z haven't had this car yet, never mind... Smile

So, if you ever come to Hungary again we try to arrange this better. Would be great to see you here when we can visit a drift event. Look forward to 2008's calendar.
