Not a football fan,
But If these so-called footballers are the european champions, then football is in a sad state.
Diving, going down as if they were just shot.
These guys are paid big money, the least they could do is take a tackle.

Dont find rediculous excuses now...

Thats not the problem. Milan played better two years ago in Konstantinopolis and lost. Today Liverpool played better, but lost.

This is football.

No matter what, there was only one thing to remember...

These people standing, singing all the time and in the end, when the match was lost, still cheering for the team and even hailing the winners.

Thats the only reason why LFC is such a great team and

YOU 'LL NEVER WALK ALONE!!!!

p.s News from Athens say that Greeks, English and Italian fans are all together now in the center of Athens partying Wink

Do they also have their fans tear up your town regardless of whether they win or loose??

Here in Holland that seems to be all thats important in football, its not about how good your team plays, its about how much of a mess you can leave behind because your life is to boring while us poor tax payers pay millions each year for all the swat teams they need to put in place and all the damages that need to be repaired.

I like the occasional game... but I hate what its all become today...

Those people will tear up anything anywhere anytime. Its large amounts of testosterone that will otherwise find an outlet elsewhere..

Not enough danger in life anymore

They played good enough to win -with much luck- better teams like Czech Rep, Portugal and France. No matter what you guys say, they made as proud. They were a good team eventhough they were not good players.

Mux, you should improve your choises in cinema If I may say Wink

My Olympiakos won again the Championship. 10th time in 11 years.

We both are red Lipinhu Wink

Kostas is great player man! George also (he trully dives all the time, but I guess you dont mind about that when he wins a foul on behalf of Benfica, right???? Wink Wink Wink )

Its a shame we didnt make it to the World Cup. But after all, we didnt deserve to...

Based on what knowladge? the fact I saw 300 because a collegue handed it to me? Smile

Seriously, I kinda enjoyed that movie in a "don't take it to serious" kind of way.

Anyways, back on topic. If you purely value football on the game, and you look at how real teams play, then yes the sport can be seen as interesting and you could and should really be proud of your team.

But in reality, what teams nowadays are our teams? They are filled with overpaid nobrain players that get exchanged like crazy in such a way that the nationality of the team usually means only 1 or 2 players are actually from that country.
They all play like shit because they are to worried about their next Pepsi commercial deal, they need an overbosy coach just to try and turn them into team players because they all want to be the best to see their fortune increase.
And all the while, their 'fans' keep busting up our cities, fight wit the other 'fans' and mess things up.

The great game football once was, atleast here in Holland, is hard to find.

Not that I ever liked football to begin with so I'm overly biassed Wink
