Decided to upload my projekt to this brilliant site, after watching alle the other projects coming along.

Bought my Levin October 3. 2006, and started to take it apart in the spring 2007.

Have to have it torn completely apart and have all rust fixed, and finally have it resprayed in Metallic Black with some gold flakes in it, not fully decided yet...

This will be a long post, will post the pictures in new replies, as I get further with the projekt.

As it looked when I drove it home in October:

And here with my old Celica AT160:

Took a picture together with my fathers Corolla TE71 Liftback, before taking the front apart:

Started to take the interior and the rear bumber out:

Luckily no rust in the interior:

My friend parked his VW Polo to take som pictures in the background...

Rear fender edges (Don't know the exact word for it) not looking good:

Got them fixed, along with some other things, the EP7 edges did not have everything with it, so got them from a Corolla AE80:

Disassembled and it looked very good, except the fenders:

Rear panel and fuel cap sandblasted:

Both door panels sandblasted, seems to be in very good condition:

Him self in action Smile

Allmost disassembled the entire engine bay, so it can be ready for paint, not sure if I can remember where to mount it all:

Repaired my drivers seat, better than before:

Parts for my AE86:

Left rust free door and JBlood sideskirts:

A whole bunch of parts, KYB Shock absorbers, lots of rust protection and much more:

Waterpump underdrive pulley, alternator underdrive pulley and 1 kg lightend singe crank pulley. Silicone radiator hose kit, and tower strut brace. High polished valve covers with polished spark plug cover:

Have ordered a TRD wing and Prothane complete bushing kit, but it have not arrived yet.

Did your father restore the TE71, or is it in original state? Blonde question

As far as i know its the originally shape, all though it was resprayed in the early 90's, but it has no rust, had some made a few years ago, but all in all its the original shape Smile
He have also had it since 1983 Cool

Got this in the mail yesterday OBX racing heater:

And this from my Local Toyota Dealer, new fenders:

Had some problems getting my old crankshaft pulley off, it was sealed with loctite, and the inner pulley were broken, so we had to weld a piece off metal on it, before it would come off.

Here the difference between the old and the new one, the new single drive pulley is 1 kg ligther then the old one.

Looks like the T3 pulleys. They're not featured in the website, but i've seen some in ebay.

You were able to order new fenders through a toyota dealer? Shocked
Me and Robokill were at the dealer in Amsterdam and we were told they were not orderable. Atleast, we were told parts without any delivery time normally are discontinued. Perhaps we should have tried ordering it anyway? Confused

Thats what they said to me too when I asked for a KE25 windshield. Made up some story about restoring the car for an old couples wedding aniversery, had the windshield at home within two days.

The first Toyota shop i asked for them also told me they were unavailable, this was a shop i only contacted by mail, becasue then I could get a discount.

When they told me i couldn't order them, I went to my local Toyota Dealer, the spare part salesmen have i had many previously orders with so he said it might be possible, all though they had to be ordered home from Japan. Two weeks after i recieved them, and got 20 % discount Thumbsup, cause i told him i would have gotten that from the other shop.

So if you want them, my advice is to push them a little harder, then you might succed. Smile

A little update off what I accomplished today Smile

Finished disassembling the engine bay, never ever going to take a master brake cylinder out again!

Got the rear axle assembly off, don't think I'll ever get that thing on again.

Somethings missing, wonder what it is... Blonde question

The price i wrote is with 20 % discount, because I am a member of a Danish Toyota site, which have very good deals with a Toyota Dealer in Risskov.
