hi guys...im new here i just sold my rx7 its a 87 and a 94 beacuse im getting married soon...and all the left over i bought a 86 sr5 corolla for $500 only...inside and out is very very nice shape...theres no eng or trans problem all original even the stereo...well i need help...can yiu guys give some idea to make my engine a lil bit faster or more hp or more torque...SOMETHING PLS!...beside engine swap...i have to engine swap soon really soon for now just engine upgrade thanks alot

Hey Olla,

There is plenty to read about engine swaps already on the forum, just search around or check the technical FAQ on the front page. The project subforum is a good start already to see whats been done before. Do note that a swap never comes cheap (all though some say dropping in a nissan thingy isn't to expensive).

As for tuning the 4AC engine, there are possibilities here, some have done some mild tuning, but even some have turbo charged these engines. www.paradiseracing.com sells (or at least sold) a kit that brought your 4AC up to roughly the HP levels of a stock 4AG.
I suggest heading over to our brothers at www.club4ac.com, they have much more info on the specifics of the 4AC then we've got.
