Sounds like another nice oportunity to drive. Sadly, I won't be joining..I'm off to kill me some 2 litre beersteins that weekend in Germany..duty calls. Maybe Ivan will join in the Volvo or Trueno.

Hmmm, I need to think about it, I didn't like the fact it was to crowded last time. To little room for error, to many idiots on the track = to much risk.

Bas, up to this day, during normal trackdays@zandvoort, i haven't seen a single incident that involved more then 1 car. People crash themself into walls, not into other cars. I feel pretty safe over there.

Then you haven't been driving there enough.
Last time I was there I had two near misses due to idiots on the track and one time because I was an idiot myself
I also saw several accidents between cars.
Its getting to crowded and to many inexperienced people driving. Normally I have nothing against inexperienced people driving aslong as they take it easy and as long as they limit the number of cars on the track. My idea of fun at a track day is not heading into a corner with 10 other cars with first time drivers at the wheel..

hmz, it's possible that i have been driving so slow that they cleared the wreckages before i got there, but everything i have seen so far is nothing a humble taxi driver like myself should be afraid of
ps: That said, your car is probably worth more then my last four cars together

Hehe, yeah that might explain I'm more reluctant to put myself in harms way:D Its in a big part because I do not trust myself and my own driving skills in such an environment.
Still its a real shame because I loved these days when they were a little bit more quiet. Also seeing the time of year it might be so that there will be less people on the track anyways.

I've heard of at least one incident that involved two cars (last time). Problem imho is not inexperienced drivers, but the sheer amount of cars on the track. All it takes is one slip of your attention or one misjudgment and off you go.
And Senna: your taxi driving skills would be another good reason for not attending
Just kidding, the rx7 looked good out there last time. Nice lines.

a compliment from NoHachi, almost makes me blush, must have been Michiel driving
The Rx7 felt pretty wobly to me. Which should be fixed with the new Coilovers that i had put on last week. I might have gone a bit overboard with the spring rates, at least on the street it's a laugh, but grip levels on decent roads are insane.
@Circuitfreak: Good you'l be joining us. Going to make a flashy appearance with my old TRD diff?
