Since the new website is live you might encounter problems.
If you can find something weird or not functioning right, please report them in this topic. Wink

If you have trouble logging in to the new site: try to remove the old aeu86 cookies.

In firefox you can do it by going to Options->Privacy->Cookies and there choose "view cookies". Then filter on aeu86.org and remove them all.

In Internet Explorer you can only remove them by removing all cookies. Go to Tools->Internet Options->Temporary Internet Files and there choose "Remove Cookies".

*edit* I found out you have to now turn these on individually in your profile settings. Thats new, I never noticed that in the test site. I can't update it without getting an SQL error so I'm guessing the defaults values weren't set correctly in the migration (which might explain why I never noticed the new option before).

Also do we still have some of the old blue color buttons or is that my cache settings screwing things up?

hmmz art, when I reply 6 out of 10 times I get logged off. When I go in one of the active topics I start at page one instead the page where the last reply was.

Thats weird, we never changed something related to that. I actually notice that its having certain difficulties with remembering the threads I've read. Seems like something didn't transfer completely as we haven't had that problem on the test site...

Hey Art,

Not all thumbnails are scaled correctly:

You can see the first thumbnail on this page is to big. I think this is because on the old board thumbnails were only created if the original picture was larger then a certain size. Now this size is smaller so we're missing thumbnails for all the pictures that are smaller compared to the old size..

fout1.jpg is probably caused by my own pc, i'm getting that kinda message regularly (anyone knows how i can stop that error checking thingie Sad

)

Quick reply should be fixed now, as well as the 1974 issue of the Doc.

However I can't reproduce the problem of Robokill regarding the logging off and the Doc's javascript.

I'll look into the thumnail problem later. Think the picturesize is too small to be thumbnailed. Wink

Oh and you can have now 10 cars in the garage. Wink

Fixed the 5 last topics:
- removed the javascript (wasn't nessacary)
- Added last post id, so it goes directly to the correct page. Wink

Robokill: try to remove your cookies, perhaps that's the problem. Neutral

Is it me, or does a submit on the quick reply always result in a preview the first time and a real submit the second time?

Djex: It takes the amount of points and the maximum it could have gotten. So it is supposed to be that way I guess. Neutral

Robo: Color of the font has been changed. Should be readable now. Wink

I also changed the cookie name to be sure old cookies can't interfere anymore. Wink

I also get the preview when I submit. Edit: I had to logout to submit. I was using the quick reply and I got preview for 5-6 times in a row. It would not submit.

Also, some thumbs are still not resized correctly.

couldn't log in to begin with (probably me forgettting to delete)

I got my email through requesting a new password and once it redirected me it was missing /forum/ from the login url. ? maybe a cookie again but maybe some forum_dir php variable or something not quite right ?

other than that - looks cool! well done guys.

Fixed the not-super quick reply: it turned out to be a problem with checking if the reply is not a flood. Perhaps the writers of the mod were still working with an older version of phpbb. Neutral

It also affects edit-posts: if you edit too quick it will throw you to the preview again. Just wait 15 seconds and hit submit again. Puh

Anyway, you still get one preview though, but after that one it should be working. Smile

Also fixed the thumbnails. The whole problem was that they were actually not thumbnails. Stupid

So I put the resize script on it. Wink

Also copied the old avatars, so they should work now as well. Puh
