Eventhough we don't like strict rules, we would like to point out to the rules of this board.

1. Warnings / Bans
Warning #1: no problem
Warning #2: what kind of Itsuki are you? Be carefull!
Warning #3: You'll get a not-permanent ban.
Warning #4: You'll get a permanent ban.

2. Basic rules

Respect eachothers religion, origin and opinion. You can argue about these things, but flames are not allowed.

You are not allowed to post spam.

Try to post ontopic. Continuous offtopic posting can be seen as a violation of the rules.

Don't insult people. It makes you a lot less popular and is not constructive behaviour.

If you have an argument with someone else: keep it to personal messages. Not everyone would like to share your disagreements.

Violation of the basic rules will result in a warning (see section one)

Owning multiple accounts is agains the rules and will result in a not-permanent ban. We will destroy all of the multiple accounts and allow you to come back with your oldest account. When caught a second time you'll receive a permanent ban.

3. Posting rules

Try to post as clearly as possible. We all want to read your postings and sometimes it is difficult enough to understand eachother.

Do not try to impress other board members by showing off your skills in BrEeZaH/1337-speak/Finnish/etc. language. This is an English language oriented board, so we ARE not impressed! Exception to this rule is ofcourse the regional forums. Wink

When posting a topic, please do note we have categories. Try to imagine what category would suit your topic.

Do not crosspost a topic in multiple categories. We are not charmed by the same topics in multiple categories.

Do not kick topics older than 2 or 3 months. It's very annoying if a discussion happened a long time ago and all of a sudden someone kicks the topic to start the discussion again. Only kick a topic if it's needed, otherwise just open a new topic.

Do not remove the 'edit by:' line whenever a moderator or admin edited your post. We monitor this and will thank you with a warning.

When posting images, please do not post images bigger than 640x480 or 100Kb. Big images could ruin the layout and please think of the members who use low-bandwidth connections and they are not eager to wait 5 minutes for images to load. Wink

Respect eachothers car like you would respect your own. Nobody wants to hear that their car is shit/tupperware/a rustbucket/whater and neither would you.

4. Multimedia

When posting images, see Posting rules

It is not allowed to post or link porn or any other erotic material.

It is not allowed to post, link or details about downloads to copyrighted material. (this includes torrent files or direct links to torrent file downloads) Youtube is allowed since the content of that their responsibility.

There is one exception to this rule: we do allow posting of unlicensed material in raw format. We do not allow fansubbed material due to the fact that the line between copyright violation and fansubs is very thin. Besides that are fansubs bad for DVD sales, if the series eventually will be released. Our opinion is that the raws should make it viewable enough. If the unlicensed material will be licensed we will remove links and details from the posts.

5. Site promotion

You are allowed to promote your own site via a banner or text in your signature or profile.

You are not allowed to promote a site with commerically intentions in any other way. Violation of this rule will result in a warning!

6. Buy and sell section

The buy and sell section is for private sales only, if you want to sell things as a company, please contact us admins for rights in the commercial sales section.

Please try to keep to items related to AE86's

Discussions about the price of offered goods will not be tolerated, any such remarks will be removed without warning, if you are interested in buying something, please discuss the price you are willing to pay directly with the seller through pm or email.

Try to keep your remarks about a product on offer factual. Please respect peoples property especially if you do not intent to buy the product. You may not like it, but someone else will and may take offence to your remark.

7. Commercial activities
Commercial activities through this forum by members are not allowed, except by approval of the administrators and moderators. The buy/sell section is meant for selling parts and stuff on a non commercial basis, however advertising in the Advertisement subforum is allowed. Groupbuys are also only allowed on a non commercial basis. As our gratitude for violation of this rule we will give the user a #3 warning bonus: a non permanent ban.
In case you want us to promote or advertise for your commercial activities: please ask us by sending a pm or email along with your reaons why. We'll discuss your application for advertisements and grant you access to the advertisement section. However we may ask for a donation depending on the advertisement.

8. Avatars, nicknames and signatures

Maximum size of an avatar is 100kb and the dimensions of 80x80 pixels. Avatars bigger than this will be removed.

Maximum size of a signature is 100kb and the dimensions of 400x100 pixels. Signatures bigger than this will be removed.

If you want to change your nickname, post a topic in the General forum. A moderator or admin will see your request in there and change it when they have the time to do so.

9. Moderators and admins
Us moderators and admins, are in fact just normal human beings. We do not have superpowers irl, unless banning and moderating are considered superpowers. As we do not have superpowers, we are capable of making mistakes.

If you have any problem with another user on the board: try to contact a moderator or admin by PM or email. We will try to resolve things.

We do have our own forum to discuss what you (bad, bad) users are up to. Whatever is in that forum is strictly for us, moderators and admins, to know.

We are always in need of (regional) moderators, so if you think you are capable enough of being a moderator, send us an PM. Well discuss your application and let you know if we also think you are capable enough. Wink

10. Legal issues
Since we can't guarantee any content of this forum is correct, fictive or exaggerated the content may not be used as proof against any person or group.

Since we cannot verify the contents, the crew cannot be taken responsible for any actions of any user of this community.

Changed rules about site promotion. Promoting sites is only strictly forbidden if it contains commercial activities.

Also changed some rules about legal issues a few days ago.
