I personally prefer the Live-Evil/Ideology subs, but lately they've been very slow. I think they're in dire need of translators... makes me wish my Japanese wasnt as sucky as it unfortunately is. =p
Even so, they do have ep 16 released now actually. http://www.ide-fansubs.net (they distro through bittorrent and irc-bots mainly) And for eps 17 and 18 (well I viewed the raws on the day of their broadcats but ah well, heh) by now u could prolly find some crappy subs by sum random group on your generic bittorrent page, stuff like mininova, torrentspy or w/e prolly works.
On a sidenote, for all the Initial D lovers who also developed a love-hate relationship with Super Eurobeat music due to watching the anime, who are also currently watching 4th Stage, "Super Eurobeat Initial D 4th Stage Selection" was already released ages ago, tomorrow "Selection 2" will be released. (Super Eurobeat Selections are not to be mistaken with the Initial D 'sounds' OSTs which just have (mostly) boring sounds/music and the intro/outro music. (Move, heh)
PS.
A sticky like this doesnt really seem like the place for these things btw.

As you can see in the topic title this sticky is actually about the air and release dates of the series and not about them in particular. There are plenty other topics in the Initial D forum section which actually discuss the series, subs and music.
