I'm currently busy finding a server: it turned out to be that buying a second hand server is cheaper than buying a 1U or 2U case and build stuff in it. So hopefully the server will be a lot quicker than I thought in the first place. Smile

Due to all consternation around buying a hachi I completely forgot to mention I've bought a server for the forum yesterday:
Sun Netra T1
500MHz Ultrasparc IIe
512 MB memory
2 x 18GB scsi harddisks

Only 200 euros. Cheerleader

I'm going to start installing software soon! Smile

Just an update:
I've started to install the server a second time. The first time failed when I tried to load FreeBSD on it. After that I didn't have the time to retry due to the fact I bought my hachi... Puh

This week I tried it again and found various sources which told me to install Gentoo instead. So, I'm currently installing Gentoo and see if everything will work out fine. Wink

Well, FreeBSD is a bit more secure, but Gentoo will do fine. Wink
