europe style is nice but most cars are just in better shape from japan. been checking some prices. for 6k euro's i have a complete trueno here on plates etc. In a condiftion I cannot buy one here. So depends on what you want.
drifter i would go europe. the car doesn't need to be clean etc
daily driver or love car i would choose a jap import

Maybe a dumb question, and maybe I must use the search button, but what is exactly the difference between these two?
I suspect the taillights could be a difference...

minor differences, BUt i would strongly agree with JAP AE86. Alot better in many ways... Solid car, less or NO rust, Come with extras, some come with a better LSD as standard, ... basically built for purpose, and amongst many other reasons too.
But it depends on the individual who is buying the car, for what reason is he/she buying it for? In nearly all or most cases i would recommend a JAP AE86, but if you are thinking of buying a AE86 and restoring it, and spending ridiculous amount of money, to get it right to original standard, and then finally parking it up in your heated garage, then i advice a UK ae86. otherwise i strongly recommended JAP AE86.

UK and jap came with the same two pinion lsd as standard?, infact, you are more lightly to get a car from Japan with an open diff. I have never seen a UK car not equiped with lsd as standard. I prefere the UK look. But I like a lot of the Jap stuff also.

Yeah cue im with you there. Personally id go with jap for trashing cause all have been gutted in some way out there very hard to find one standard and uk spec for loving. That why my UK spec is in the shed waitin on sunny days. But i have come across a beautifull standard one in Japan but its not cheap.
Thinkin of importing it for sale if anybody interested. White over black Levin mint condition. Lovely interior usual jap extra's standard wheels. Closest lookin to UK spec iv ever seen

Jap = No rust = WIN
If we killed ours we'd get an impost and put the uk lights on the back and sell the redlines or whitelines.
