i think i'll start it today...

hmm...where to start...

ok, i had a bit of a removal thingies going on today, to see where the hell that water comes from in the drivers side footwell...so i started to strip it all out...ahh, and when i had the flood some 2 days ago it killed the central locking, so i now have to open it with a key...
pics will soon follow, and now i'm off to bed!

Wave

adam

EDIT: i just remembered that i ripped off that tiger in there too...well, almost...Very Happy

Its funny how every project thread here on aeu starts with:

"So i've started removing..." Very Happy

kinda funny from the other peoples perspective, to go buy a car and start removing stuf right away.

Othatr than that, adam great decision to buy that hachi; keep us posted, and surely obey mux and post some pics right away.

have fun!

lp,saš

Looks like it broke on the mounting points or something. Take the bumper off and see what the damage is, with luck its just torn and you can glue it back together but if the mounting points are broken off and you are missing parts, you may need to either do some fabricating or get another bumper...

But with some creativity it should be easy to fix, the bumper from the outside looks in tact which is very hopefull:)

well, the point is that the mounts are all in place, and i can't even move the bumper in any direction...when i hit the towing hook, all the shit that the bumper was attatched to moved downwards.. Shocked so i will needa remove the bumper and then we'll see what's there! but i thik that i'llbe able to fix it tomorrow or some of my free days after the w/e!

Will probably need to be pulled back a little...nothing a collision damage repair shop couldnt fix... While your at it you can ask them to drill out those broken bolts.
