Looks good, Conrad!
Looking forward to watching this AE86 take shape. It's great to see another one being built with the intentions these cars deserve

Finally some progress.....
Front end all stripped out.
Windscreen removed but unfortunately it got broken
Dashboard, steering column, heater box, pedal assembly and all the front end items removed from the cabin....
Time to prepare the front end for strengthening, seam sealer removed & the area is prepped ready for the stitch welding

Next up.....
the cross member gets a little modification to create more room for the F20C sump. Cut, plated and strengthened.
Off it goes for powder coating to get that new look again

Ok here we go, some pictures of the progress from RS....
Stitch welding of all the front seams for a little bit of added strength.
Next up.. the boot floor recieves a bit of attention..... and gets removed!
Nice & flat now ready for an aluminium bag tank
Next up... tailgate starting to get stripped out prior to removal.
No rust on this one....
Hopefully the cage install will be next
