A bit more info:
RSS is a format for spreading (news) items on a unform way. In this way you can subscribe to many rss-feeds and see if anything is updated recently. For aeu86.org we support rss in two ways: front page and forum. For the frontpage we also support atom and opml. For RSS-feeds you need a RSS-viewer. Nowadays RSS-viewers are quite common and come in very much flavors: a seperate program or a extension for popular programs as IE, Firefox or Trillian. A very popular extention for firefox is the sage-viewer. When you load the feed into the viewer you can have your viewer update the content as often as you like (e.g. every minute) but please note the server will have a higher load if you all use this functionality every minute.
