There's not a lot wrong with a 350Z. Of the few I've driven, they're pretty impressive. Could use more power, but as standard they're a great package. The engines are fairly tunable too on the JDM market.
JUN got 800 bhp from their's (Albeit very heavily modified internally with a T88 tubby). I prefer an RX-7 as a quick coupe of the same size, but I plan to do it the opposite way to you Ian... 'Rolla as daily drive transport and weekend drifter and the RX-7 for going very quickly road or track.
