it keep dying on me

ok so this is my first question, i have a 1985 sr5 with the 4a-c engine, and the problem is that after it gets to operating temp if i let go of the gas while in neutral the car dies just like if shut it off with the key, i keep thinking is the carburetor but then again i think it could be electrical because it does not sputter when it dies, any ideas as to what could be wrong with my car Crying

i need an ae86!!!
