A solid spacer makes the setup stronger, and the crown/pinion element tend to do an anoying buzzzy sound once they have several miles or heavy load over them.

The crush sleeve (deformable spacer) if tightened too strong is rubish, and in due time it will deform even more thus creating radial gap in the bearings = shipped crown/pinion tooth and noise.

blowing dust away...

what hapend this year..
not that mutch..

picked up a 6 point Matter safty cage, en mounted it..
just ordered from ultra racing

and had a dyno meeting..

should have 145hp on the engine (gen1 gze), but allready 141,2 whp!!

so going verry strong

I could not find more time to spend to the car Sad

so my bushing kit and supercharger pully are still laying on the schelf, next to my panhard rod...

but just ordered:

swaybar Front 25mm
swaybar Rear 19mm

In two weeks the car is going over to spend some time @ specialists
because i do not have the time and place to mount,
they will mount al my goodies and pull it trough the MOTof this year!

then I can spend some time on buying my own house!

more updates soon!

Can you measure 0-60 sometime? Should be around 5.7secs if you include the weight of an extra observer with a stopwatch. Curious whether this is achieved in practice.

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

No pointSmile its not as if you have anything to prove. Just curious about how various stages of tuning translate to performance. Yours has almost every trick in the book, so it would be interesting to seeSmile since this is becominga seriously fast car.

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

quite some time since I have posted an update (2009!!)

lot hapend since, owned and sold some cars ( A4, Golf 1cabrio GTD, M550D, V250Brabus , but the one stable is the AE86.

-- Fotos to add--

Stil got the car,
Since 2014 in a "divorced state" motor and tranny are out. Motor is already overhauled and waiting for the marige again. got the engine rebuild in 2014, waiting since..

Finaly, end of 2021, I found some energy and time again,

removed the front bumper, lights and fenders. started cleaning, since mine is full with KTL and ML. ( whole car has lots of KTL and by that in a pretty good state.)
