Short list of mods: modded 20v blacktop running on open ITB's (288 cams on both intake and exhaust, factory bottom end), complete exhaust (TRD custom), TRD tranny, TRD LSD, lots of work on suspension, and so much more to list... I've recently heard a gossip that it'd been turbocharged.
Ahhh, VTEC. All the lag, none of the turbo. It's like waiting for bad sex. |

man i really doubt he would turbo his hachi. as i mentioned before it would be like turning a s2000 into s14. turbo is just not in the spirit of things. i think..
i thought he was running the standard blacktop. also on the movies it seems he is shifting at a little above 8000 rpm. like a standard 20v.. so hov much is it making now? its not alot more than the standard 160 hp as it is still much slower than oridos 190 hp levin. unless some recent mods have been don, im not really up to date. |

I dont think its anything to do with it being a 20v, it just sounds like a bit of induction roar to me!

If you would have seen the last Touge Showdown vid where Keichi got his ass handed to him by a mildly modded eg6 civic and an mx5 you would also have found out that he plans to go for a 5A-G stroker kit for some extra power (which was a big part of why he couldnt keep up in his hachi).

I dunno what it's from ...the loose touge showdown vids can be found if you do a search on club4ag, and probably over here as well..Very cool vids.. The EG6 was a mildly modded car with a 1.8l VTEC engine..(B18C?)

This clip is from Best Motoring 41, AE86 Special 1. It's so damn funny when he race an EG6 later on and drift away from it.
