Bad news for me... I made about 1000km and then i started pushing my car harder. Hachi accelerate very nice but... Engine started burns oil Banging head . I think is something wrong with rings. I bought "Grant" rings, they are made in California, that should be a good product... Tomorrow i'll buy manometer and i'll check compression.

Sorry for my english...

NPR would be the only rings I'd put instead of OEM. WTH is Grant? Banging head

NPR is fine, but I'd strongly recommend OEM rings. Yeah I know, they aren't cheap. You sure it's rings after all? Check the engine and let us know

I'm not sure. As i said i'll check the compression and when i collect necessary parts (gaskets, head gasket, oil filter etc...) i'll open the engine and see what is wrong.

So guys... I measured the compression. I didn't expect so high results.

1st - 16,0 bar
2nd - 16,1 bar
3rd - 8,5 bar
4th - 16,6 bar

What i'm thinking now is: I need thicker head gasket of course (but how thick?). I'm wondering what is wrong with 3rd cylinder... Maybe some valves are not tight, but the head was checked before installation. Maybe i have problem with rings only in 3rd cylinder. What is Your ideas?

Test it again with some oil in the cylinders, that should tell you if it's the rings or the valves. (higher compression with oil = rings)

I just want to tell You guys that my project is not dead. I have small problem with money and have no time (school, work, etc...).
I know i have problem with engine but i just can't stand it and i took my hachi to the track. It was really nice Smile here some photos:

Yes I know... too soft suspension. I'm still looking for rear springs (trd 4,3kg or similar).

Below too long drift counterclockwise and engine suckt oil.
