Alimonos,

Ae92 shocks require you to either use a 6cm spacer (not recommended) or shorten your struts casing (recommended). The AE92 shocks have a much shorter body then the AE86 shocks.

If you do not want to alter your struts, buy AE86 shocks but you need to realize you should not lower your car to much or your shocks may become less effective.

This is a pretty cool picture I found on Club4AG forums - shows the most popular ways that can be used when modifying the struts for new shocks and springs.

As you can see, it's a good idea to both shorten the strut slightly and then use a small spacer under the shock. Cutting the whole 60mm off the strut would probably drop the car too much to be comfortable in street use.

I use AE92 front inserts.
AE86 housing was cut 30mm. I use 30mm steel inserts under shock inside shock housing.

This is CLOSE-look at the under-shock spacer (this particular one is in Mux at the moment, you can see small picture in his project thread).

i 've already installed the T3 spacers so the only thing to do is cut 3mm of the strut on the upper section ?
