Zenki two door Trueno from Japan
Unfortunately my Kanji is nonexistent and it's too time consuming trying to decipher it with my books.
If no one here can read this ask me again in 6 months then I'll have the time to do it myself.
Very curious to know what it sais.

Same for me, I would be able to decypher Hiragana/Katakana myself but Kanji is much harder Big Grin
I have some people who actually might be able to read it or ask their spouses, so I'll definitely update once I have received it. Tongue

That Donut Media video has so many mistakes in pronunciation it bothers me Big Grin. And the owner somehow managed to transform the 2 door car into a 3 door car. Good for him Tongue jk

The rust issue is a real pain and I feel you. I hope the shops will do a good work. Tha Japanese text however is hard for me, too. Handwritten stuff is still difficult for me.

Only a few videos on youtube discussing ae86s are decent. Donut media video is a half assed attempt as usual. They could’ve registered themselves on an enthusiast website to get their facts straight.

Mine has a hole in exactly the same place. It’s just at the edge of that re-enforcing plate. Do people repair this by drilling out the spotwelds or just cut into it and weld in a small repair section?

I think the repair in my case will be a cut and replace job.
About the mystery post-it: my good friend Daniel O'Grady was able to (get it) translate(d). It reads:
Quote:Driver's side, inside, no rivets
As I suspected: someone bought some parts from a wrecker or a company like UpGarage and undid the stripped out interior. This confirms the non-matching de-colorization of the plastics in the rear.
