Whats the weight of your AE86?

I'm planning to weight my car as soon it is finished( hopefully within a few months) have no interior, no heater & frp fenders & bonnet
bought those from ivan141 but don't know where they've been made, ask him where he got those, and they didn't cost that much

The frp fenders came from JonT, the bonnet was a used one from ebay delange.. came off a rallycar, that's why it was cheaper (although it did cost me about 7 evenings of fibreglass and filler work to get it fixed up again).

I think your weigth measure are optimist....

I weighted my car all oem, all Stock, basic model 3 doors without sunroof and whitout fuel and weigthed 1005kg....on papers 970kg.

Know with a diet weigth 960kg.... I think my measure is correct because we weight a lot of cars (ae86/sw20/147gta/ITR/CTR/EK4) and have good measures...

my 3door is right a 1000kg that low on fuel,about 1/4 tank,and no sparetire

My old red one was 970kg with a weld in iron gage,totally stripped,with a full gas tank.

theres a japanese company cant remember name that built a n2 levin hatch that weighed 690kg is black with red stripes they have it on there website willl look in my hyper rev for link and name when i get home.

Didn't know that about the USDM doors. wow, as the car is now I think if I were to get t-boned by anything bigger, or going faster then a scooter I would probably wouldnt survive.. So I dont even want to think of the results would be for non usdm ae86's with a side impact.
Any guess on how much these reinforcement bars weight?

I just crashed a bit my USDM door and it's really hard. I think everyday about how to lighten my hachi more but these doors stay as they served me very well in that (really) very little accident.
It can be really heavy, about 5-6kg per door, maybe more.
