Read on, there's a whole topic. In my opinion - one of the best worked hachis in existance. Not to say it's the fastest, that we don't know yet as the car is not yet tuned to its best, but why dismiss that? xD

thanks guys plans at moment are to swap out motor instead of rebuilding though but will post up once i secure replacement engine car is finally feeling goood as i changed front shocks and springs

No idea what the door braces weigh, it can't be much more than whatever six feet of plumbing pipe would way. The bumpers (and associated parts) are a more significant weight.
For that matter I have no idea if the doors in the EU required similar braces back in the 80's. There was no "EU" back then, was there?<G>
