"Simple Daily" - E46 318Ti, was £600 and a london car so pretty rust free. Can't really complain about it, nothing exciting hah.

Yep. 1.5 BA.. It's not particularly economical, it's not fast nor is it fun to drive, but it has never failed me in the 10 years I've owned it. Uses about 10l of oil per year these days, but I couldnt care less. Nothing wrong with mazda's late 90's engines, they're just very boring. AFAIK the engine is all mazda, no ford involvement.

Last thing I want out of a daily is more work so this suits me fine.. I would like a bit more excitement from my next daily though..

FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC!

Whats everyones daily driver?
I'm still driving my trusty FK. In these pics it was still brand spanking new and without scratches dents:

Yes my neighborhood really sucks for cars: people just dent and scratch your car when parked for all sorts of reasons. Happy that I'm finally moving to a better neighborhood. Big Grin

You've obviously never driven through Slough.

I think you could solve most of the world's problems by just decapitating anyone who goes within a mile of BMW dealership.

Answer this one for me, does the AE86 also take up 3 parking spaces, or is that bullshit reserved for cars with a BMW badge?

Thankfully not Hurray!

Hahahah! Harsh. Let's reserve that for those that buy new. I still need to buy some parts from the Stealership and it's also on the main road to Stirling Tongue

That would be a no in both cases as I seem to be the exception to the BMW rule by using indicators, not driving 2 inches off your bumper in front and the ability to actually drive and park Tongue

Nope but it's a overhyped and overpriced 80's thincan Wink

tbh used BMW's are quite comfortable and cheap at least in germany. If Toyota and the others wouldn't focus on lame economy cars with tiny engines and futuristic transformer look I wouldn't drive a BMW as a daily Tongue

Daily Beater: Civic EG5
Work in progress Car: AE86
