KristianAE86 Wrote:But this was after i gave them new pictures & data/info about the AE86´s history in the world of cars.

I really want to know about AE86 history in the world of cars and races, I remember somebody was talking about a list of events the hachiroku won etc... is that ever been made? Other than us (otaku maniacs perverted) the world seems to know very little about this vehicle...probably it is better this way so prices won't rise too much.
Talking about Italy...ppl think I am a very poor boy because I got an old asian boxy piece of scrap.
I think it is also about time for a serious book too, like the one about MR2 or RX7 published by VELOCE. There is plenty of material from Japan too...but I guess all the ppl that know stuff is too busy with the head inside the bonnet

Haha, so true...most people think of my car as an old piece of shit (the leaking exhaust, badly painted bonnet and peeling clearcoat kinda prove the point for them).
I bought my car 2 years ago for 550 euro's. And to be honest it wasn't worth a cent more. Rust, ball joints, bearings, brakes and crappy paint. Nowadays the ring and pinion are shot, my gearbox has it's bad moments, my exhaust looks like swiss cheese and my clutch release bearing is worn out.
I think it wouldnt fetch more than 1000 euro's if I wanted to sell it like this.

Drifting gets more and more popular. I've posted my car on Tweakers which is a big forum for computer nerds. Even a lot of people recognized my car, not only through Initial D. Undecided
I'd guess it will become worse if it will feature in a major movie like Fast and the Furious 3. Crying

1982 - TA60 Carina 4dr sedan - fun cruiser
1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project
2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver

I've seen such statistics - 1986, AE86 was winner in all races in world rally championship (except one - second place) - in his class ofcourse.
