Urgent replies needed DIFF OIL + refresh
Hi Guys,

Within a few hours I am going to refresh my Diff Oil at SV sportscars.
I am going to do this mainly by myself.

I have KAAZ oil that I bought like 2 years ago from a dude on here - from portugal. De flask is banged up really hard but it doesnt leak and its still new.
Is there an expiration date on oil?

Should I buy other oil or is the KAAZ oil 80W90 GL5 good for my stock diff.
I think I had a 1.5 LSD

Other tips?

Just unplug the top plug than the bottom - drain it...
clean the plugs - check the seals.
plug the bottom back in - then fill it up in the top till it drips out again.
Then plug the top back in and wrench everything good and hard right?
how much KG?

What else?

Thanks!!!

Use the "old" oil, no problem.

The oil will drain better if it is hot but be careful not to burn your
hands on it.
I usually warm up the new oil by standing the bottle in boiling water
for a few minutes, makes it a lot easier to fill.
If you are using bottles with long plasic spouts on then you will
need as much space above the diff. as possible so it is best to
put the chassis on stands and let the axle drop as low as
the dampers will allow.

X2

Get it as hot as possible, let it drain as long as possible.

So what!

Yeah allready did it ofcourse.

I did put the AE86 pretty high in the air so that I could lay under it.
And then I just filled it till it came out the top plug.
I hope its not too much but then again the car still drives like a charm Big Grin

Thanks guys! It worked fine!

I dont believe in myself so much - I believe more in all the info / help I get on here! That way I am able to check everything good etc.
