Please describe your distibutor trigger.

Is it 24+4tooth or 4+1 tooth.

16v or 20v? I assume 16v.
Was it MAP or MAF to begin with?

EURO MAP should have batch injectors in wiring.
#10 and #20 are joined in the wiring loom.

For AFM/MAF cars I believe #10 drives 2 injectors, #20 drives other two injectors.

Mate, can you put whole bill of material, everything u used ?

I'm calculating, what do i need.

I have '85 bigport 16v MAF engine, and i checked for igniter, i have 8 wires which is i hope ok.

I'm planning ITB setup with different cams.

What have u used.

And if i want to save existing harness, 65$ for 12feet with db37 + all wires from diyautotune is sufficient ?

thanks

I bought the followings:
MegaSquirt I V2.2 unsassembled kit 139$
Stimulator 69$
communication cable 5$
213$ + 32$ shipping

Innovate LC-1 Wideband controller 229$
229$ + 32$ shipping cost

total 245$ + 261$ = 506$ + (taxes in our country, that was about 50€)

If you want to go for the same, you need to buy high impedance injectors.
I bought 7MGE high impedance 315ccm injectors (good for 210hp) from Ebay 120$ with shipping .

Total cost ~ 700$

The ITB's was much more expensive
AE101 ITB + T3 manifold ~ 650$
vacum collector ~ 60$
Velocity stacks (trumpets) ~ 200$
Pipercross PX 600 air filter with blank plate~ 150$

(loctite, soldering iron, wires, etc)..... ~40$
So the grand total (ITB + MS) was about 1800$ inculude shipping costs. I recommend that you need to calculate 1500-2000$ for this conversion.

24+4 should cause problems?
The 4 tooth are too close to 24 tooth.

There is not enough lead time to allow triggering without reseting
"degree counter" in the ecu software?
Events are too close together and too close to TDC.
Also Im suprised you ahve success witht he stock loom too.
EURO AE86 has NE, G and G- wires that are not shielded.
Last time we tried this we had LOTS of noise on the wires.

I haven't any noise on logs already, just simply dropped out the other sensor from dizzy.

The VR sensor wiring is very important! That can be working both variant of wiring, but working good only with the right polarity. This causeed all of my igniton problems. The ignition control worked on the opposite direction with wrong wiring.
