Trackday Nordschleife 30.03.09
Hi guys
Got some news. We finally got the Nordschleife for a complete day. Date: 30th March 2009 Track: Nürburgring Nordschleife (Green Hell) Price: 450 Euro Time: 08.00-17.00 I know it is not really cheap but you will not get this track for a full day without maniacs (bikes, SUVs, buses) for less. We will limit the number of cars to 80 which is like nothing on this 20km plus track. We will also have a dyno from the Dynoteam there which will be free of charge for all participants. Out of curiosity....
What would it take to get a car from another country to Germany and run on the Ring. I've always to track a car there but my own 86 would be a dream. I wouldn't drive the 86 on public roads. Just to ship it to the EU and have it for an extended stay for track days. Ever heard of it done before? FYI, I'm from Canada. |

Well this can be done quite easily, just takes time for shipping.
You just have to check with your insurance if they cover you in Europe and also get papaers that you will take it back to Canada. Otherwise it can get stuck in customs. Prices will be what the Roro ship costs you, will depend if you are eastcoast or westcoas. But you can also rent race cars at the Ring.
