Starting problem
Hi, thanks for the answers.

The thing on the hood: it's the fake, rice boy's intake. I'll put it off, when the cars goes to repaint. If I put it off now, the holes in the hood will remain. Sad

NoHachi:
I think that if the fuel pump was nearly dead or fuel filter dirty, the car would have problems also when running (going 60 km/h for eg.). I should replace the fuel filter anyway, because I don't know when it was changed for the last time.
The engine light doesn't glow when the car is running, so I think the ecu doesn't show the error.

I'll check the fuel lines, but the car experienced the same problems also in the morning: it didn't want to start.

Where is fuel pump relay located?

Regards
Andrej

I have no clue...I dont actually own one of those things. But I know there are people out here with work shop manuals...perhaps even digital versions of that workshop manual... I think that if you asked them politely (perhaps make a different topic) that they wouldn't mind sending you the relevant pages. Perhaps someone with enough webspace could throw the entire thing on the net, so the forum users can use it.
Not sure about that last thing do...they might have some crazy money making scheme's lined up or something...but you can always try

Dont worry Andrej, there are RWD manuals out there. Search/ask and you'll find them.

The manual in the garage section of hachilife is purely for the RWD Corolla, so check it outSmile

I have the manual from
http://www.toymods.org.au

and it's the same as at hachilife.

Anyway, do you hear a click in the glovebox, always when turning the key in the first postition (before the starter cranks the engine) ?

Not that I know off, but then again, I have never listened for it in the first place. Next time I'm in my car I'll see if I can hear something.
