I measured the bolts from outter to outter at 73,5mm and each bolt at Ø15,75mm so thats 57,75mm bolt spacing I think?

or buy aftermarket replacement coilovers for them and bolt them on Smile

if i'm at my barn this weekend, i can measure a set of shocks from a EP82 Starlet.

Nice! Any measurements that line up here would be extremely helpful for my plan to install the front coilovers this car deserves.

I just got back from an email chat with T3, and according to a drawing that they sent me (Which I dare not post here), which showed bolt spacing/pcd of RA40, TA22 and TE72 hub carriers, my measurements are the most consistent with TE72 hub carriers:

And remember my measurements are according to a well-used caliper:
My hub carriers have 64,75mm square PCD for caliper brackets.
TE72 hub carriers have 64mm square PCD for caliper brackets.

My spindle diameter are 17,5mm outter, 30mm center, 40,9mm inner.
TE72 spindle dimensions are 17,5mm outter, 29mm center and 41mm inner.

This is too good to be true? I finally know what hub-carrier I have?

TE71/72 could be it indeed. It's a quite common car around the world, and compatible with AE86 stuff, so easy to source parts for. And if you're making a custom big brake setup, the base doesn't really matter, as long as the basic stuff fits Smile

Yeah!
Just had a chat with my mechanic, he confirmed they are indeed TE71/2 spindles, so only need a set of TE71 struts and adjustable inserts (sleeves already ordered)

The hunt for adjustable TRD inserts begins..

Thanks a lot for your help and input everybody! Smile

Adventure not yet over..

I made a mistake in listing the measuring, my wheel hub has a Ø29mm (inner diameter) inner wheel bearing, which will not fit the Ø30mm (outer diameter) TE71/2 spindle..

Everything else lines up though.. Banging head

On second thought, jamiemirror adviced this might be because of milled spindle due to previous damage, so I`ll get to measuring the LH spindle tommorow and find out for sure!
