Settings for APEXi SAFC???
The problem is that my car doesn't have a Pressure Signal cable in the 18p ECU socket.
What is the diagram for the MR2 i ' ll have to use Knudsen? I think that they say that (for the throttle signal) cause they are talking about USA models with AFM (ours have MAP instead) right? AE86 FANATIC!!! |

Well, the ECU HAS to have a pressure signal... I cant remember what diagram it was, and my manual isnt here with me. But the AW11, the AE82 and the AE86 all have the same ECU. :wink:
Are you absolutely 100% sure, that you have looked in the right socket and the right pinnumber? And that you dont have an AFM engine? Youtube Myspace and I´ll Google your Yahoo |

Yeah thats a MAP engine... Im pretty sure, that you have mistaken the pin numbers. I remember, that its easiest if you take the plug out of the ECU and turn it 180 degree... Then its pointing in the same direction as in the manual.

Oh man i made such a fool of myself!!!
I was looking in front of the socket man ...  Anyway i'm going to use the T1-a diagramm which is for the AW-11 right? and of course the diagramm is for the ECU PINS and not for the socket pins right?

No, the diagram is for the socketpins. That means if you see the ECU from above with the sockets connected. As you can see, you have to turn the sockets 180 degree, cause the diagram is actually upside down :wink:
Im pretty sure that it was the AW11 diagram i used... Ohh, and be careful when you connect the pressure signal. Its very important to connect it the right way. Nothing will get ruined, but the engine wont start if its connected wrong
