S13 rear end project underway
Just bought billet GKTech toe, camber, and traction rods and billet solid mounts and eccentric lockout kit.
Also bought DBA slotted rotors 297mm, and EBC yellow stuff pads. Just painted the cast parts in Por15, great stuff. |

Had massive issues with the MCN AVO suspension, so avoid that...
The stock Nissan sway bars dont fit so you will need to get one made up (or cut even more out of the floor. Shortened driveshaft is in. The handbrake cables strangely enough fit with very little modification. Just got the sway bar to go, and buy some helper springs for the coilovers (reflecting one of the issues with the AVO setup!). |

S13 rear end project underway
just curious as to why everyone goes with the Nissan IRS instead of the RA65/MA65 stuff? I know TRD made a bolt in IRS setup for the ae86 back in the day. It utilized a 7.5" Celica Supra differential and bolted into the factory chassis with no modifications. I'm sure these are as hard to find as the holy grail... maybe I'll do this on my next 86.
