Hey peepz,

my topic starts here as I will tell the story and show the progress on my car.

I bought the car on march 26 2004. For 750 euro's the car was mine. Including alot of extra parts that came from a brother looking partscar.

Now one year later the deal is set for respray and I have alot of work to do. For starters I really needed to change the suspension.

Ready for mounting is this



Yellow koni adjustables with TRD coil springs (8kg/mm front 7kg/mm rear)
Also laying ready is a set of bushings. I will start working on the front struts this weekend and also my spare rear axle will be fixed up for the eye.




This axle has double layers instead of single.

Because I've been fighting with my engine from the beginning i rounded up 2 spares. One in pieces on the shelfs and one complete.



Gasket set is being orderd as we speak for this little bugger. Both spare engines are 7 ribbed engines. My current 3 ribbed I want to use for complete rebuild and will try to get around 160 hp on the crank. (Something to keep my money dissapearing the couple of comming years)

Orderd new clutch today kinda burnt mine current one ........... It still does its job but you hear it and it doesn't come of that nice.

Orderd standard toyota btw just to see the quality the price was low so i don't care. Lets see it survive my test day on 14 august.

also looked at colours. Can't make up my mind to go for a 062 or a pearl white etc.

Anyone got colour codes from the coupe with cby kit ????

this springs are for shortstroke and coilovers?
can you measure the unloaded height, inner, outer diameter and diameter of the rib.

i can order custom made springs from local industrial spring faktory,
in the future. but it is a new topic worth about the: spring rates ride heigts and damping setups for diferrent ride styles

EUhm thje shocks are 8kg/mm and 7 so

lets say the max damping is 5 cm at full load

400kg on 5 cm damping and 350 kg on 5 cm damping.

No i won't run shortstroke or coil overs :-) just standard stuff

robo, uhm, I can only resize them by resizing the originals on my HD

springs are really short :-) So short that the car and the springs will lose contact once i put it up.

On the bridge ready for suspenion tuning.

Car is now low. So low that the rear wheel is falling in the rear arch. Looks cool and i can still take speedbumps. Altough i never thought the car would become this stiff
