RX7: Bad joke or not?
http://www.dumpert.nl/mediabase/17838/41...index.html

At first I thought it had to be a really bad joke by some people, but who would do such a thing? Huh

One of the comments is that the guy used oem wheelmounts while the offset of the rims are different. Makes sense, but why do three wheels fall of together then? Dumb question

probably too much force. Once i heard someone say that a wheelmount should at least be turned about 6 times.

what do you mean?

don't you mean with a specific torque?

I've seen this one on the net already. Personally I just think the tool forgot to tighten his bolts after he swapped his normal street legal wheels & tires for the road racing slick ones.

I like that model RX-7, so it kinda hurts seeing all 4 tires go their separate ways...

before it tightens the lugnut should circled 6 times on the bolt. This way it has good/enough grip on the bolt.

probably the wheels arent apropriate for that model, and the bolts were too short, insted of 6 turns, looks like 1/4 turn or less, all whhels came out so easily.

The guy was actually using wrong thread lug nuts.
Still weird that he didn't feel that something was wrong.

man, thos nuts arent exactly butter-soft. How the hell did he tighten them? If the thread sizez dont mach you have a hard time tightening this bolt with a air-kompressor pistol @ 10 bar..
