 Does look cool but i'd really worry about strength. Unless its "rocketproof" glass... in which case I'd worry about the weight! |

Hmmm, plexiglass is quite strong, but I don't think it's durable.

I think perspex would be durable enough to cope with the heat from braking. During Second World War most fighter airplanes had front windshields made from it, and sometimes it wouldn't break (only a hole left) when shot with a 20mm bullet from a cannon...

It'll get scratched up in no time, The heat from the brakes will make it bubbly, and the shock from running very low profile tires on a bumpy road might crack it...
