Good to hear your pal is also salvageable. Wink
But IMO you are very lucky with such a pal, eventhough he parked your car into a wall and he had to go to the hospital he is still willing to pay for it. Thumbs up!

BTW: noticed the red-panda you wanted to buy is lowered in it's price. Wink

i agree, think of the guy who crashed it as "probably not yet the best driver in the world" but such an awsome friend! Someone who crashes your car but pays for it out of his own account is a true friend, and those i hold very high.

He attacked everything in life with a mix of extrordinary genius and naive incompetence, and it was often difficult to tell which was which.

I hold real friends high also, but I also like people who show respect to others property, no matter how close friends you might be.

Of course its not my bussiness...

p.s: That car from driftworks has the 2 xr-4's you 're missing!

I'd be prepared for the paint to be crappy... Looks like a spray-can job to me, but it might very well just be a crappy picture:

Of course, if the rest is solid then I guess I'd jump on it ;-)

nmwisima: Ya, but guess he's doing the best he can... The damage's done. Shit happens.

Damn that sucks! You've not exactly had the car long!

At least your mate is OK and willing to pay for a replacement!

I'm so sorry to hear about this mate. I would be completely gutted. As cliche as it sounds it's great that you and your mate are ok. It kind of goes to show that the 86 is stronger than some may think when it comes to front end crashes. What speed was he doing when he hit the wall?

Also let me know what spare parts you may be selling that reside at the rear end. Would be good for you to get as much money back as possible for everything on her.

The Big Yin Wrote:no way of rescuing this one i'm afraid

Don't give up man, keep the car and buy poor equipped (stock) AE86, maybe with worn interior etc - you can use your as donor car.
It's good that your friend will pay.
