Not to sure about that type of restauration:

Of course, it looks perfect, a GREAT job was done and it seems to be nicely put in a museum where people can see it...

But then I wonder how this car would feel in the hands of a good racing driver. I'm no expert on this but I'm worried about the structural strength of a car that has been torn apart this far... It's not a VW beetle or 2CV where you can just put another body on the chassis.

Oldschool racecars from the 70s and 80s
Ok, time to dig up an old thread again. Smile Last saturday, there was a Historic Race Finland club event at the Alastaro Circuit and I spent the most of the day at the track, taking photos. I uploaded some of the better ones to our gallery here.

Here's a few examples;

The blue 2-door AE86 is actually racing in Roadsport B class, which is exactly the one I'm building my 3-door for. It took quite easily the pole position but in the race, finished second to the widebody Mk1 Escort due to a slight slip (there was some slight rain).

Nice! Thumbs up!
I love those batmobiles! Yummie!
However this one does look a bit different at the rear... Perhaps a replica? Dumb question
