well that still makes it 3 plates instead of one... anyhow at ~1mm per plate that seems doable..
If anyone is willing to share the technical drawing for the plates I wouldn't say no to having them - else I'll just have to wait untill I find the time to pull it all apart myself one day.[/quote] Hi It will last. As I said before it was abused one season with ported Blacktop and the seccond season with the F20C swap. This video with F20C swap prooves it works perfectly.. JZD |

More than a week ago I gave my clutches to the plant, so that they would be polished to the desired sizes.
Today I was planning to take them ready. But it turned out that with the OEM clutch was a problem. OEM ones together with those that are laser cut from steel 65G clutch are kept on a magnetic table grinding bridge. OEMs do not stay on the magnetic table and create problems. So we lost 2 clutchs. However, the clutches that was laser-cuted good magnets and well polishing. Steel, which I chose for these plates, with increasing content of magnesium. Not so easy to work with.
And here is another victim of inexperienced plane grinder. But the change of several "artists" with the right machine, we were able to make things right. So now we can assemble. There is clearly seen that at the same thickness that had only 3 disks before. Now same thickness have 5 discs and it will provide, according to my calculations, +66,7% increase area of friction. I have got some of the new babies
Here I have some more of the LSD plates - part of them is ready for my friend. and some spare. Then I have some new idea !!!! Spool modification.. And you don't have to weld anything, also you can turn it back to LSD easily. JZD |

I need more information on these....
I have a OEM Kouki LSD ready for putting in my 86. What would be the % of locking of the OEM LSD? I want to improve the locking % of my LSD, so is there any kit available for the LSD? Regards |

Afaik the OEM LSD is in the 25% range. There are some kits arround which add additional clutch plates to improve locking like the ones in the post above.
