So this happend over the weekend...

shit.... don't know why it's so blurry Sad

I think the first change I want to do to the car is other wheels and tyres.
Although it has a nice 'stance' and looks ok, I don't really like the the stretched tyres on these wide rims (I presume 8" wide) and current grip isn't the best in the dutch weather.
So looking for some watanabe-ish wheel and some new tyres to go with it. Preferably 6"x14"

Congratulations !!! If you are thinking about getting new wheels, you might want to consider 15" wheels. There is a much better selections of 15" tires Vs 14" tires.

Nice, looks like a decent spec but obviously its hard to tell from a blurry image.
If those wheels are Street Fins (and it looks like they are) then I think you've got some of the nicest wheels available for the 86, but its up to you if you want to change them. Back when I had my own 86 I would done anything for those wheels.

Have fun dude. Keep us updated as you progress with it.

I don't know why its happening with the blurry pictures, prob due to photobucket. Any suggestions with other sites for picture hosting for forums?
Also the previous pic from last weeks isn't showing...

No Hayashi Street Fins unfortunately, these are Rota BM8's (ET0) with 195/50/15 stretched on them.
Don't believe stretched tyres have ever effected positive to the handling of a car. So smaller rims or wider tyres would be needed.
And although the looks are good, I don;t want fatter tyres. I guess there are more options in 14" with 185 wide than with 15". Just have to research it.

I've been using imgur to host nearly all my images so far. I've yet to have any blurry images and the bandwidth limit seems pretty good.

If I had to guess, I suspect the size of your image may have triggered a bandwidth limit and therefore been made blurry. Try resizing it before you switch to a different host.

Also, there isn't much difference between Rota BM8 and Hayashi Street Fins, so if I still had my Corolla I would be ripping your arm off for those wheels right now.

Haha, thanks for the tip.
Well, photobucket has been a b*tch since a while. Saw that the DIY pictures are blurry as well incl watermark in it.
I'll give Imgur a try

There's a monthly 25mb data limit on free photofucket accounts, I wouldn't bother with it anymore.

Again congratulations.
For few pictures you can upload them straight to the site.
For the wheel tires you could go for 15x7 with 195/50R15 this was an official option.
I'm running 205/50R15 on 15x8 but that's with wider fenders.
