My Drift project - 83' Trueno coupe
Finally some more progress... Been super busy last few month with work and with new garage - so Trueno was standig still... BUT - Intake mani and exhaust mani is 98% done now Intake need vacum fittings to be drilled / fixed in, and exhaust needs just supports to be done. For now - it will be ok - cuz i will be able to start working on whole front, with IC / Radiator / oil cooler and etc to get fitted in the V-mount...
This is how it looks inside the plenum: Ex-owner of JDM 83' Trueno Coupe DCw Classic, classic cars restoration, JDM wheels & parts import, sales. http://www.facebook.com/DogCustomWorks +37067170000 |

Finally - WHOLE weekend of work on Corolla only Managed to get some stuff made... Started to work on V-mount setup. First - Radiator / oil cooler supports:
Next - was intercooler brackets and IN / OUT pipes rework... Aint finished IN / OUT pipes - this will have to wait till next weekend But atleast first lines of the V-mount are already visible! Whole supports made from SSteel - to avoid corossion. Everything is removible (exept lower support) so just in case of "somthing" can be easily changed Ex-owner of JDM 83' Trueno Coupe DCw Classic, classic cars restoration, JDM wheels & parts import, sales. http://www.facebook.com/DogCustomWorks +37067170000 |

My Drift project - 83' Trueno coupe
More progress today Finally started working on Fuel tank. As i wanted my fuel tank to be right between rear strut towers - so i had to build it by my self cuz i could not find anything Off the shelf awailible in the size / shape i wanted.
Rolled up some Aliuminium 2mm sheet - and stared messuring / bending. Made the main shape of the tank. Started to work on the place where the fuel pump will be - started rolling a tube from aliuminium, and then decided i will just jump to "home depot" kinda store - to get some bending joints for the bariers in the tank. While i was in the shop - i thought why not take a look at the kitchen things shelf. And woala - found the RIGHT shape "tube" already made for my Fuel pump to sit in Came to garage with huge smile Did some modification to already pre-made "thing" Did some simple barriers with bending joins inside the tank - they will keep the flow more in the place - and allow fuel pump place not to starve without fuel. I will be running external pump also, along with the swirlpot - so this IN TANK stuff is not so much important.. Made a place in tank where to weld fuel pump place (made it around 1cm lower then everything) And heres the outcome Put the top on - and started all the welding (actually all the welding was done by my friend - he knows how to deal with ALu stuff...) Done for today. Tomorow - will have to make opening for the fuel pump, make a braket for the fuel pump, all the IN / OUT lines, and fill up neck Also - the breather...
