I have a problem, fitting my Kaaz 2 way diff.
The axles won't come off. Banging head
I even built a kind of a pulling tool, but they were still tight.
Is there a trick for this...?
In my ke70 they came apart really easy Big Grin

Put an old steel rim with tyre on the studs backwards, put on the wheel nuts as loose as you dare and pull towards you in a reverse hammering effect.

Ghetto slide hammer but it works well. Better with the tyre fitted to maximise the weight behind each effort.

It will come, but make sure you keep your legs out from under the car and that it is very stable however you have raised it.

Put a 1m or so piece of chain from one stud to another stud put wheel nuts on, then twist the slack in the chain around the head of a sledge hammer. Pull the sledge handle towrds you and free your axles from the housing. Worked for me.

yeah I built a sliding hammer about 1m long and 1,5kg of hammering weight, didn't help. Crying
Maybe I could heat up the part where the bearing is, with a blow torch!?

You could do that, but it will smell very bad as there is alot of oil inside there.
And don't forget the oilseal thats behind the bearing, they don't like temperatures above 120 degrees C.

1.5kg is to light, you should rent one of 3kg or so @ machine-hire-shop-thing. Or build something with a thick plate, tube and an old wheel or so.

I have a light problem with my suspension, my car is lower on the left side, when it's on straight surface.
It's been lowered 40mm and has bilsteins.
I don't know if the problem comes from the front or rear axle,

What do you think?

measure your ground clearance around all 4 corners of the car, that's not too difficult to do, and you'll know where to look for the problem.

be sure to measure it on the center of the wheel. So when you look behind the wheel and then on the chassis point. (if its not dented)

If I read your post correct your springs are cut. That could be a problem.

btw could you make some pics of the rollcage?

My new toy.
Old skool Kp30, just bought it from belgium, painted 2 years ago, very nice condition.
I have planned to lower it with escort mk2 lowering blocks and slightly cut the front springs.
For wheels I was thinking to buy some quad/ATV wheels as they exist in 4x110, 7x12. Tongue and golf 1 crosshair headlights, and the chin spoiler.
The rest will remain original Smile
