Model F, i thought they had a 7K in them
I don't think it has a 3T or 16R engine "It's all about the heart, the people who focus on parts, turbo's and all that stuff...they're just losers." -Shinji Minowa |

The Doctor Wrote:you mean the 16V version? the 3k-r is super rare. 16v and twin cam and dry sump... the intake's are cool - slide action those tosco engines are just built up k's, the 3k-r was a total rethink of the engine. i think the reason they are so hard to get is maybe they were all TOSCO owned but leased to racers. i know they were well before the kp6#'s time. |

Thanks for your input, guys!
I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do concernng the engine. I allready got a 288 degrees cam shaft for a 4K, but getting carbs will cost a fair bit. I've been thinking if it would be possible to convert it to a TE30 (2TG). If so it would be road legal with a 4AGE. Does any of you guys know what mods this would take? Actually the first step would be to figure out if it can be saved (or how much $$ it would be)... i got a set of manifolds and IDF carbies for 4K if you want. They are jetted for my tuned engine, so there could be some things wrong.
A friend of mine wanted the carbies also, so he has them atm to try if they fit his car. The manifolds (the hardest part to find imho) i've got for sure, the carbs maybe PM me if you're intrested, i don't want too much for them "It's all about the heart, the people who focus on parts, turbo's and all that stuff...they're just losers." -Shinji Minowa |

With 288 cams, the jetting should be OK, bit rich maybe, but driveable. Just need some free flowing headers.
