Looking for cool project
Hey,

You might not all know me, some of you do. I made the glassfiber / epoxy new design side mirrors for DJexor (silver bullet topic).

But now i am looking for a new project if i have vacation in a few weeks. So.. if you guys know something, tell me. Smile

Hmmm, does it have to be glassfiber/epoxy? Tongue
Anyway, I think we can come up with some things Wink

Rear bumper extension... Most of us know the little fins that you can mount on the sides of the rear bumper so the lines of the sideskirts are carried trough all the way to the back. JBlood makes them (those are mucho expensive, and so are the copies), and toyota europe made the for the euro market bodykit. Now imagine something similar to those fins, but connected by a thin edge going all around the bottom of the rear bumper.

that's the first thing that comes to mind, it's something that's not yet available so you'll get to be creative again. I'm sure that some of the stock bumper fins can be arranged so you have something to work from.

That would be awesome but even just cheaper ones of the "little fins" would be great Wave Thumbs up!

Haha cool that you guys are enthusiast.

To banpei: No it does not have to be glassfiber.

In general: It has to be something i can make OR try out (if it is new for me). The idea is that you pay only for the used materials and off course a small fee for me.

To Ivan141 and NZ Trueno: The idea sounds good I like being creative Smile . Since I am not familiar in the car world, I have no idea how these original “fins” look like or how big they are but it sounds like I can make them. And yes it would be good if i have something to work from Thumbs up! .

Keep those ideas comming, the best or most wanted could be my new project.

Those are the Jblood ones.. Doesnt DJexor have the euro sideskirts? Maybe he already has the fins too, they are a little less "flowing" than the J-Blood set, so they match the style of the sideskirts better. Ideally what I'm looking for is something in between the JBlook style and euro AE86 style. Not too extreme so it can blend in with the lines of the car with stock sideskirts, but not as "square" as the original item (which doesnt blend in with the bumper enough).

Hi, it has been some time now since i replied.

But here is a little something for the fins.

It is not a good representation but it is something

Please do not pay attention to the sharp edges and everything the program is not perfect for these double curved shapes
