Oooh...I really want to hear how the mintex pads perform. I was thinking about getting some sometime, but I get mixed opinions about them..One guy thinks they're great, the other hates them, makes it hard to choose. Remind me of a cool quote: opinions are like assholes...everybody's got one.

Gheghe....the list never ends...
After the prothane bushings come the negative camber RCA's,
Battleversion tierods, big brake kits, etcetera etcetera.
Thats one of the things I love about the car, the possible modifications
are almost endless. How much did it cost you to have those RCA's made by the way? Seems like a good alternative to importing expensive ones.

I bought prothane (polyamid PA6, hard compound) in stick, so will make my own bushings Wink
No need for negative RCA's since i have camber plates.
BV Tie rods are nothing but fancy parts IMO. Bushings are more important.
Mintex racing pads with new rotors are more then suficient for a lightnen ae86 like mine.
RCA's are exact copyes of Junbride RCA's. They costed cca 70€ to manufacture.
I can get better prices, but i need qtys over 4. Then the price is cca 45€

Next upgrade?
Maybe bushings, 14" winter tires...who knows. Smile

Well...I dont exactly see the point of the BV tierods either, other than that they are stronger and less likely to get misadjusted with time (something about the nut not being secured very good on std tierods).
Can you post up some of the experiences you've had with the mintex pads already or havent you installed them yet?

Maybe we can set up a group-buy kind of thing for those RCA's of yours, I can easily think of a number of people that have lowered their car without RCA's (like me when I'm finished).

If there is enough intrest we can make group buy of RCA in another thread.

Regarding Mintex, i haven't tested it yet, but first impresion are very good. I especialy improved brake pedal feeling. I can now precisly balance breaking pedal, so i don't lock up front wheels, but yet use brakes to the tires limit (i have toyo t1s tires).
