Last from the spoiler: I gave it a whiff of primer, then its easy to see where to sand or putty some more. I need to give it a sanding to make it perfect.

Then it was the OE antennahole that needed some attention.
First i welded a small piece of metalsheet on. I know my welds look a bit shitty, but its hard to weld without heatbending the fender to much:

Due to a small heatbend, i needed to give a larger area putty - this is after sanding ( i use fiberglasputty):

More putty, more sanding.

The final layer of polyester PP100. This is before sanding offcourse.

Got the rearwheel arches done today. They have only had one layer of filler, so they need alot more attention in form of filler and sanding (man, my arms are getting longer and longer)

I got the rusty area inside the right inner wheelcasing done, it now look like this:

And finally the hole in the top of the hatch is welded shut. That needs some filler too:

Dont hesitate to comment! Thumbs up!

Your doing some nice work so far.. I know how much work it is to get all that bodywork smoothed out again with filler, it can be quite a challenge sometimes. You still have a nasty little bump in the wheelarch in those pictures, but you mentioned your not done yet so that's not an issue I guess.

If the bump youre mention, is the one in the last wheel picture - it should, according the smith, be filler.. So it should be rather easy to sand down, but time will tell. I know theres some long evenings with filler and sandpaper yet to come. Sad
Im just happy that all the rustwork is complete, and the paintjob is much closer.
